Heat 3 – Miss Esporta – Thursday 22nd AprilOn the evening of Thursday the 22nd of April, Esporta, The Wearside Health and Racket Club held the 3rd heat for Miss Sunderland. The leisure club, usually full of fitness fanatics, had 13 gorgeous and glamorous girls hoping to win a place in the final of Miss Sunderland 2010.Once again the Judges were present and eager to ask the elegant beauties a question or two. With a slightly different panel of Judges this time, the Miss Sunderland team was keen to mix the gossip up. Well known hairdresser Neville Ramsay from Ramsay & Johnson Hair & Beauty Salon was there once again and explained "your hair is a dress you never take off, hair makes a woman sexy”. There to support Neville on the Judging panel was his business partner Paul Johnson. Danielle May, a former glamour model was also there on the evening on the Judging panel to give her thoughts and support to the girls. The current Miss Sunderland, Alexandra Devine was also there to Judge the contest wearing a chic and elegant dress.Once again the night started with a bang, with atmosphere electric and the whole room packed out with people attending the event, the anticipation was immense. Presenter Simon Robertson got the crowd going into frenzy with his smooth and exciting talk about the competition. The personality round came first along with an interview followed by a swimwear round where the girls were keen to show the audience why they should be put through to the final.All girls were different with individual qualities and looks, sparking personalities and each had something spectacular to add to the competition. From ‘Boho’ babes to Sporting Sensations all 13 girls had it all. With more girls taking part in the heat and the standard being so high at this heat, the Judges were struggling to make a decision on which they should put through to the final of Miss Sunderland 2010. After much thorough thought and consideration the Judges made the exciting decision to put, not only 4 girls but 6 through to the final of Miss Sunderland!!!1st Kimberley Peacock the petite bubbly brunette flew into first place, with her fantastic and funky attitude the beauty queen wasn’t shy of a question or two from the Judges.Tamzin Cummings, a Dita Von Tesse lookalike, stunned the Judges with her classy and daring look. The sizzling sensation looked authentic in a 1950’s style polka dot bikini as well as classy with her vintage look.Rebecca MacGeekie a 17 year old dancer from Darlington looked funky with her ‘sporty street dancer’ look in the personality round. In the swimwear round she surprised the Judges with her bright and colourful swimsuit.Katie Ford from Yarm had a natural and pretty look. The delightful sweetheart had a kind approach to what the competition is all about.Kayla Bunton. The 18 year old rock chick red-head entered the competition to boost her confidence after a split from her boyfriend. The wild and sassy chick amazed the Judges with her passionate stroll down the catwalk. Francesca Keith was the people’s choice of the evening. The 20 year old darling had a chic and girlie look on the evening.
