heat 4Heat 4 – Miss Cellular Solutions – Wednesday 5th May 2010On Wednesday the 5th of May Miss Sunderland held its last and final heat in search for the last finalists for the Miss Sunderland 2010 competition. The event was held at The Museum and Winter Gardens in Sunderland, more of an unusual venue for beauty queens to gather than the typical hair salons and high street shops! The heat was sponsored by Cellular solutions, a Wearside-based mobile telecoms company.Once again Judges Ben and Kelly from Real radio were there who were thrilled to take a seat on the panel once for one last shot, along with Mike Bowers and Richard Apedale, of Cellular Solutions, who said they were impressed with all of the girls as soon as they stepped foot on the catwalk.12 girls took part on the evening hoping to steal a place in the final 24 of the competition. For one last time the night started with comical banter between presenter Simon Robertson and the Judges. The girls came on individually and flaunted their style in the personality round showing they had what it took to make it all the way into the final. All girls taking part in the heat had something first-class to add to the competition. Swimwear was the 2nd round where girls had the chance to show off their striking figures, all in anything from bikinis, swimsuits and accessories, all girls had an individual and spectacular look. From start to finish on the evening the standard of the girls looks and personalities was high, therefore once again the Judges decided to put more girls through to the final than anticipated. Not only 4 girls would go through to the final of Miss Sunderland but 5 girls were chosen.Heat judges Ben and Kelly, from Real Radio and Mike Bowers and Richard Apedaile, of Cellular Solutions, said they were impressed with Annabelle as soon as she stepped foot on the catwalk.Managing director Mike said: "Annabelle is a natural beauty with a gentle personality to match."Despite fierce competition we were all in agreement when it came to picking a clear winner."1st Annabelle Swain, a natural looking and beautiful girl with a ‘girl next door’ vibe caught the judge’s eye the minute she stepped onto the stage. Annabelle, who works at Barmston Medical Centre, hopes to win the overall contest title in a bid to represent her home city at Miss England. She said: "I entered the contest as a way to boost my confidence.""Whenever you go outside of Sunderland, people think you are from Newcastle and I would love to put Sunderland on the map."I chose the gold bikini to wear in the swimwear round as I wanted something that stood out."I was really nervous, though, as it's the first time I've done anything like this."Kelsey Brown a gorgeous diva with a fuller figure and proud of her curves immediately stole the judge’s attention with her bubbly and bouncy personality.Rachel Lilley, a sexy glamour girl from Hartlepool took 3rd place after strutting her stuff down the catwalk. Stephanie Hewson, the petite blonde beauty babe took 4th place in the heat with her outgoing personality.Leah McQuillan who was the people’s choice on the evening was proud and thrilled to be put into the final by the public to represent her home town Sunderland. www.scottspock.co.ukhttp://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/North-Sunderland-United-Kingdom/Miss-Sunderland/79089843958?ref=ts This website was created using MAGIX Website Maker You will need the current version of Adobe Flash Player to view it.
