The Charity

Help For Heroes was founded by Bryn and Emma Parry in October 2007 out of a desire to help the wounded service men and women returning from Afghanistan and Iraq. The Charity's message is non-political and non-critical: It seeks to help ordinary people working in extraordinary circumstances, many of whom face living with the consequences of their time spent serving their country.

The Grace House North East Children's Hospice Appeal is raising money to build a hospice with life-limiting illnesses and their families who live in the North East of England. It is estimated that there are 1000 children in the North East who need this type of specialist care however there are only 12 hospice beds to serve the whole of the region- the lowest level of provision throughout the UK.

Ever year Miss Sunderland supports a local charity. In 2009 we raised £4000 for the Sunderland Foundation. For the 2010 event Help For Heroes & Grace House North East Childrens Hospice have been chosen and we hope to raise even more money . If you can help out in anyway please contact us.
